Refund policy
We want you to feel confident purchasing and training with The BAT. This policy explains our 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, return process and Limited Product Warranty.
The satisfaction guarantee and product warranty provide different protections:
- The 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee applies when you try The BAT and decide it is not right for you.
- The Limited Product Warranty applies when a product has a covered defect in materials or workmanship.
***90-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE***
Try The BAT for 90 days from the date it is delivered. Assemble it, train with it and experience the Barbell Anchor Training system. If you decide during those 90 days that The BAT is not right for you, contact us before the end of the 90th day to request a return authorization.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a refund:
- You must request the return within 90 days of delivery.
- The purchase must have been made directly from Barbell Anchor Training or an authorized seller.
- The BAT and all physical components included with the purchase must be returned.
- The product must not show evidence of abuse, intentional damage, unauthorized modification or use contrary to our instructions.
- You must provide your order number and any information reasonably needed to process the return.
Reasonable wear resulting from properly trying the product will not disqualify a return.
Products that are materially damaged, incomplete or altered may be refused or may receive a reduced refund reflecting the loss in value.
The guarantee is limited to one returned BAT system per customer, household or shipping address.
Return Shipping
For satisfaction returns, the customer is responsible for return-shipping costs.
Once your return is approved, Barbell Anchor Training will provide a prepaid return label when available. The cost of that label (shipping) will be deducted from your refund. There is no additional restocking fee.
Original outbound shipping charges, including expedited-shipping charges, are nonrefundable. If the original order included free standard shipping, no separate outbound shipping charge will be deducted from the refund.
Barbell Anchor Training will pay return or replacement shipping when:
- The product arrives damaged;
- The product is defective;
- The wrong product was delivered; or
- The return resulted from an error by Barbell Anchor Training.
Do not return a product without first receiving return authorization and shipping instructions.
Packaging Requirements
Please retain the original box and protective packaging throughout the 90-day guarantee period. Because The BAT is an oversized product, its original packaging is the safest way to return it.
If the original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for obtaining suitable packaging and returning the product safely. Damage occurring because of inadequate return packaging may be deducted from the refund.
Refund Process
After we receive and inspect the returned merchandise, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, generally within five business days after inspection. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.
Refunds include the eligible purchase price and applicable sales tax, less customer-responsible return-shipping costs and any authorized deduction for missing or materially damaged components.
Access to BAT digital courses, programs, exercise libraries, coaching, community features and the BAT App will end when the refund is processed.
Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
Inspect your order promptly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Include:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue;
- Photographs of the product and damage;
- Photographs of the shipping box and packaging, if applicable; and
- A photograph of the shipping label.
Keep the product and all packaging until we provide further instructions.
Shipping damage should be reported within seven days of delivery whenever reasonably possible. Reporting within this period helps us document the damage with the shipping carrier. This reporting request does not eliminate any rights you may have under applicable law.
***LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY***
Barbell Anchor Training warrants its covered products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use and in accordance with the instructions and safety guidance provided with the product.
This is aΒ Limited Warranty, not a promise that the product cannot be worn, damaged or broken.
Warranty Coverage Periods
Warranty coverage begins on the productβs original delivery date.
The BAT structural components β Three years
The steel bar and permanent structural assembly are covered for three years against defects in materials and workmanship.
Rubber covering and grounded-end components β One year
The BATβs exterior rubber covering, rubber-coated handle and grounded rubber end are covered for one year against manufacturing defects, including separation, splitting or delamination caused by defective materials or workmanship.
Handle-end grip ball β One year
The plastic grip ball located at the top of the handle is covered for one year against manufacturing defects, including cracking, breaking or detaching during normal, intended use.
Weight plates β One year
The BAT weight plates are covered for one year against defects in materials and workmanship.
Resistance bands β Ninety days
Resistance bands are covered for 90 days against manufacturing defects. Gradual stretching, surface wear and loss of elasticity resulting from normal use are not manufacturing defects.
A repaired or replaced product or component remains covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days after replacement, whichever is longer.
What the Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Cosmetic scratches, scuffs, fading, discoloration or surface blemishes that do not affect safe operation;
- Punctures, cuts, holes, scratches, claw marks, bite marks or tears;
- Damage caused by pets or other animals;
- Damage caused by rings, jewelry, sharp objects, tools or other equipment;
- Abrasion caused by dragging or rubbing the product across concrete, flooring or another rough surface;
- Normal deterioration or abrasion of rubber surfaces;
- Normal smoothing or texture changes caused by repeated handling;
- Gradual stretching, surface wear or deterioration of resistance bands;
- Damage caused by dropping, throwing, slamming or striking the product against a hard surface or another object;
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or improper storage or transportation;
- Rust, corrosion or deterioration caused by moisture, outdoor storage, chemicals, extreme temperatures or environmental exposure;
- Damage caused by exceeding published weight limits or using unapproved attachments, loads or configurations;
- Use contrary to published instructions, warnings or safety guidance;
- Unauthorized alterations, modifications, disassembly or attempted repairs;
- Products with removed, defaced or altered identification markings;
- Loss or theft; or
- Damage occurring after delivery that is not attributable to a defect in materials or workmanship.
Cosmetic damage that does not affect the productβs function or safe operation is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Rubber Component Clarification
The BATβs rubber surfaces are designed for durability, but they are not impervious to cuts, punctures, claws, teeth, sharp objects or abrasive surfaces.
The warranty covers rubber that fails because of a manufacturing defect. It does not cover rubber damaged by something that happens to the product after deliveryβincluding damage caused by pets.
Who Is Covered
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a new product purchased directly from Barbell Anchor Training or an authorized seller.
The warranty is nontransferable. Warranty registration is not required, although proof of purchase may be requested.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
Contact us through our website before returning any product.
Please provide:
- Your name;
- Your order number or other proof of purchase;
- A description of the issue;
- Clear close-up photographs or video showing the problem;
- A wider photograph showing the complete product; and
- A brief explanation of when and how the issue appeared.
We may request additional photographs, video or information reasonably necessary to determine whether the issue is covered.
Do not ship a product or component back without receiving authorization and return instructions.
If a handle, grip ball, structural component or other part becomes loose, cracked or potentially unsafe, stop using the product immediately and contact us.
Warranty Remedies
If Barbell Anchor Training determines that a product has a covered defect, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the defective product or component;
- Replace the defective component;
- Replace the product with the same or a reasonably equivalent product; or
- Refund the original purchase price if repair or replacement is not reasonably available.
The warranty remedy applies to the defective component. A defective rubber covering, handle, grip ball or other replaceable part does not automatically entitle the customer to replacement of the entire BAT when the issue can be safely and reasonably corrected by repairing or replacing the affected component.
There is no charge for an approved warranty repair or replacement. If we require a covered product or component to be returned, Barbell Anchor Training will provide and pay for the return-shipping label.
Replacement components may differ slightly in color, texture or appearance from the original component without affecting their function.
Limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Barbell Anchor Training is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the applicable written Limited Warranty to the extent permitted by law.
Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of these limitations may not apply to you.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
